BO’NESS SPEED HILL CLIMB REVIVAL

SCOTLAND’S OLDEST RACING VENUE

THE CHALLENGE

The Bo’ness Speed Hill Climb has a remarkable History. Once driven by the two giants of Scottish motorsport – Jim Clark and Sir Jackie Stewart – the Bo’ness Speed Hill Climb is Scotland’s first true motor racing venue and one of it’s most illustrious motorsport events. Dating back over 80 years, the first official event staged in the Kinneil Estate was a combined car and motorcycle meeting held in June 1934. That meeting was such a success that the track was quickly developed from an unsurfaced estate road into a proper motor sports venue.

2016 saw some 12,000 visitors over the two days, an increase of 20% from the previous year.

WHAT A BRILLIANT PIECE OF WORK YOUR PROGRAMME IS - HUGELY PROFESSIONAL, AND BETTER THAN A LOT OF THE PROGRAMMES DISHED OUT AT LARGER EVENTS (SOMETIMES AT A HIGHER PRICE). IT'S YET ANOTHER INDICATION OF WHAT A BRILLIANT JOB THE WHOLE BO'NESS TEAM DOES.
